Informativa sulla privacy
Ultimo aggiornamento: 10 ottobre 2026
In breve
Permessi richiesti
- Microsoft Graph (delegati, cioè agisce come te):
User.Read,Files.ReadWrite.All,Sites.Read.All. - Outlook:
ReadItem(lettura dell'e-mail aperta).
I tuoi diritti

In short
Email Save does not collect, receive or store your data. It runs inside your Outlook and talks directly to Microsoft 365: your files never go through our servers.
Who we are
The data controller is COVINO & Partners STP s.r.l., Via Archimede 167, 00197 Rome (Italy), VAT no. and tax code 15039761000, represented by its legal representative Gian Luca Covino. Privacy contact: assistenza@covino.partners.
What the add-in reads
- From the open email: subject, sender address and attachments. The content of an attachment is read only for the ones you choose to save, when you press “Save”. The whole email (headers, text and embedded attachments) is read only if you tick “Also save the email text (.eml)” and press “Save”. If you tick that option, its identifier (Message-ID) is read too, only to check that the saved text really is that of this email.
- From SharePoint and OneDrive: the list of sites, libraries and folders you already have access to.
What it does with this data
It uploads to the chosen folder, with your own permissions and through Microsoft Graph, the attachments you picked and, only if you tick the option, the whole email as an .eml file. If you ask, it creates a new folder. It sends nothing to anyone else.
Permissions requested
- Microsoft Graph (delegated, meaning it acts as you):
User.Read,Files.ReadWrite.All,Sites.Read.All. - Outlook:
ReadItem(reading the open email).
The add-in does not ask to read your mailbox through Graph and cannot act unless you are signed in.
What is stored
To remember your choices, the add-in stores favorites, recent folders and the sender or domain → folder association (folder names and identifiers, sender email addresses and domains). This data lives in your Outlook account settings in Microsoft 365 and in the local storage of Outlook or your browser. It also keeps, in the local storage of Outlook or your browser, the sign-in tokens Microsoft issues for the session. We receive none of this. The local copy is deleted by clearing the site data in your browser; favorites can also be removed from the pane, with the star.
Cookies, analytics, advertising
None: no profiling cookies, analytics or advertising. The public pages only remember the language you picked, in your browser.
Hosting and third parties
The add-in pages are published by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.), which may log IP addresses and technical data for security and operation. Data processing inside Microsoft 365 is governed by Microsoft's terms and your organization's.
Revoking access
You can revoke consent from Microsoft's “My Apps” portal (myapps.microsoft.com). An administrator can do it from Microsoft Entra ID → Enterprise applications.
Your rights
Because we do not keep personal data about you, there is nothing to export or delete. For any question write to assistenza@covino.partners. You may always contact your data protection authority.
Changes
If we change how the add-in works in a material way, we will update this page and the date above.
